Can you install an EV charging point in any house or flat?

Types of Electric Vehicle Charging Point.
There are 3 main types of EV Charging Point. Rapid, Fast and Slow.
Rapid or Super Chargers
- Found mainly at motorway services and public locations for fast charging during a trip.
- Example: Tesla Super Charger, which charges up to 80% in just 20 minutes.
Fast Chargers
- Standard for home and workplace charging, allowing vehicles to charge in a few hours.
- Example: 7kW charger, which charges most vehicles from 0-100% in 6-12 hours.
Slow Chargers (Trickle Chargers)
- Used mainly for emergency charging and can take 12-24 hours or more.
- Use a regular 13A plug socket, not recommended for daily use as they can overload your home sockets.
What Different EV Charging Plugs/Connectors are Available?
Type 1 :plugs are most common and standard for new vehicles.
Type 2: plugs allow for faster charging in some situations if your installation supports it.
